All Teeth on Implants | Dental Implant Dentures | denture teeth implants

All Teeth Implants

Other than Dentures, Dental Implants have become the likely treatment option for replacing all teeth.  Replacing all the teeth in a jaw with dental implants stimulates jaw bone to remain in healthy function in comparison to dentures, which assist with further loss of bone and destruction.

To replace all teeth, there are numerous different options available.  Teeth Implants can be used in different ways, in different combinations, because commonly, options exist from a few teeth implants to retain the dental implant denture, to bars supporting the denture, to normal fixed teeth on teeth implants.

First of all, treatment planning begins with a Consultation and Computer aided dental implant planning in virtual software, where the dental implants are placed virtually on the computer. This allows for precise planning where we are able to determine the accurate amounts of bone and confirm whether or not Bone Grafting Procedures are required.

Guides are ordered and the first stage of treatment is for the placement of the dental implants.  Dentures can usually be worn following this appointment during the healing phase which will take as short as 3 months and as long as 7 months.  Where appropriate, at the time of placing the dental implants, temporary teeth may be attached directly onto the implants.

Following completion of healing, a series of four appointments (or more) are required to create your new teeth depending on the type of teeth chosen.
